Oil & Gas HR Round Table
Human Resource Management (HRM) is at the core of growth and development plans of every organization, be it marketing, R&D, finance or technical areas. ISPe identified this need and designed the Oil & Gas HR Round Table wherein the HR heads and professionals from the industry and allied sector organizations participate and openly share their experiences, successes and the lessons learnt about the various initiatives taken by their respective organizations in that direction.


The event, conceptualized and incepted in 2002 has so far seen virtually the who’s who from the Oil & Gas industry’s HR fraternity along with major participation from the allied service organizations, consulting sector, service providers, information technology, e-learning vendors and so and so forth. Earmarked for the city of Mumbai, the event has over the years developed as an important forum for the HR professionals from the Oil & Gas industry to discuss, deliberate and find solutions to some of the complex HR issues today the industry at large is facing.

In the past, chairmen of major public and private sector organizations have also addressed the gatherings at the round table and shared and expressed their expectations from the HR departments of their respective organizations and industry on the whole.


Spread over a day and a half, the event has a program director, which either is a practicing Oil & Gas HR professional from the industry or has worked in the HR function. HR Heads along with their teams from the top 5 PSUs, IndianOil, ONGC, GAIL, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, along with Reliance Industries are invited to speak at the conference on the theme chosen for that year. List of attendees include HR heads and professionals from Oil & Gas sector and allied service organizations.
